Your place is prepared with an unlabelled tea sample. Begin by observing its shape, colour, texture, and aroma.

Understand the six tea families
Receive a clear introduction to green, white, yellow, oolong, black, and dark tea, and how different processing methods shape their character.

Brew the tea yourself
Follow the host through warming the teaware, measuring the leaves, adding water, observing the aroma, and pouring the tea.

Taste and compare
Taste your own tea and compare it with teas prepared by other guests. Notice differences in aroma, body, warmth, freshness, texture, and finish.

Make your guess
Use what you have observed to decide which tea family your mystery tea belongs to. The experience is about noticing and describing, not giving a perfect answer.

The host reveals the teas, explains the clues, and invites guests to share the tea they found most interesting.
