1. Booking process
Inside China Journeys operates a request-and-confirmation booking model.
The usual process is:
- You submit an inquiry.
- We discuss the proposed service, date, group and requirements.
- We confirm availability and send a written quotation or proposal.
- We send a secure payment link or bank-transfer instructions.
- After the required payment is received, we issue written booking confirmation.
An inquiry, draft itinerary or unpaid quotation is not a confirmed booking.
2. Acceptance
By making payment, you confirm that:
- the traveller names, dates and service details are correct;
- you have reviewed the stated inclusions and exclusions;
- you have reviewed the payment and cancellation terms;
- you are authorised to make the booking for all named travellers; and
- all travellers agree to follow reasonable safety and conduct instructions.
3. Deposits and balance payments
A booking may require full payment or a deposit followed by one or more balance payments.
The payment schedule will be shown in the quotation or booking confirmation.
Failure to pay by the stated deadline may result in the release of reservations or cancellation of the booking.
4. Tailor-made services
Private Journeys, Business Visits and Special-Purpose Trips are customised services. Routes, hotels, transport, hosts, meetings and other arrangements remain subject to availability until confirmed.
Requested changes after confirmation may require a revised quotation.
5. Traveller-requested changes
Please request changes in writing.
We will explain any additional supplier charges before proceeding. Changes are confirmed only after we approve them in writing and receive any additional payment required.
6. Documents and communications
Booking confirmations, itineraries, invoices, payment requests and updates may be delivered electronically through email, WhatsApp or WeChat.
The customer is responsible for monitoring the contact methods provided and promptly notifying us of any change.
7. Relationship with other policies
This agreement should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Payment, Pricing & Fees Policy, Service Delivery Policy and Cancellation, Refund & Delay Policy.
Booking-specific written terms may supplement these policies. Where a quotation clearly states a supplier-specific cancellation or payment condition, that written condition applies to the relevant booking.
